The long checklist - more often than not - makes new mom-to-be’s wonder, do we actually need this and that? What's a necessity and what's nice to have? Coupled with the enormous number of brands available and streams of marketing gimmicks, it’s normal for you to feel completely lost (like I did!).

After all, labour/hospital and confinement charges as well as costs involved in the months after baby arrives will take up a large part of your expenses. And we haven't even started talking about baby’s insurance and education funds yet.
